I sent you a wire, but why is my investment amount different from what I wired?

Good news! We received your wire. But, we have have received slightly less than the amount of your investment.

Why did this happen?

Banks can charge fees for outgoing wires or, if you are an international investor, an "in-between" bank may have taken a fee from the wire before it reached us. Cross-border wires can be a real pain this way!

In this case, we will adjust your investment amount down to match the amount we actually received from you (rounded down to $20.00 per share).

For example, if you made an order for $1,000, then you sent us a $1,000 wire, but we only received $990, then your investment would be adjusted to $990, leaving a $10 different that would be refunded to you at the next calendar-quarter.
